About Me

Even if I wanted to pretend, I couldn't say that photography is all I do. It is my love. It is a passion. But, the truth is...

I. am. creative.

If I had to sum myself up in a mere three words that phrase would do it. I love photography, crafting, painting, repurposing furniture, writing, sewing, perusing thrift stores, antiquing and any subcategory of the aforementioned. My mind needs constant stimulation and creative outlets do just that for me.

My husband is a Marine and, for now, the Marine Corps has placed us in Clarksville, Tennessee. I'm thankful to have been placed in an area that is military based. Fort Campbell's Army families have been so gracious and accepting of me and I couldn't be more grateful for that. I know the struggles that these families face. I understand the absolute sadness of being at home, alone and away from the one you love while he protects our freedoms abroad. I understand the sacrifices that you make and I appreciate them. This is why I've chosen to make my work as affordable to you as I possibly can. As an additional "Thank You," any homecoming or deployment session booked with Erin Kent Photography will automatically receive 10% off the session price. And, above all, I wish to not only be a photographer to you women, you women who I relate so closely with, but also, a friend.

Life is a book that you write. You choose what your next page will read. When my life on this earth is over and people review my "book" I want to leave an impression; some sort of mark on those I love. And, if that mark is through my art, the way I express myself; well, then I'd say I accomplished just what I set out to do.

Everything I do, I do for Jesus Christ. You'll see it in every aspect of my business and in every facet of my life. I am unapologetic for being so deeply in love with my Savior because I know that all of the good things I have come from Him.

I look forward to meeting you, knowing you, capturing all of your special moments and becoming lifelong friends with you. Some of the most beautiful people I've ever met have stood on the opposite side of my lens at one time or another. Until we meet...

xoxo
-Erin
